At the end of 8th grade I had to make a very big decision; high school. I didn’t really think about high school because summer break was right around the corner.
My choices were to go to Buena or the geek school Foothill Tech. My heart said Buena because of the girls and social activities but my head said Foothill because it would be a great opportunity for a good education.
I didn’t know anything about Buena other than the fact that it’s not as hard as Foothill. I had a lot of information about Foothill though like, the block schedule this was good because it allows you to have two days to do your homework instead of one. It’s amazing but for some reason I still felt like I wanted to go to Buena.
In the end, I chose the nerd school Foothill Tech because I realized that an education is more important than girl and social activities. Also at Foothill there are very good teachers and good classes like, Fire. Fire is a class that allows you to get homework done and visit teachers for work if you were sick or gone a day. After the first five weeks at Foothill I have ended up enjoying school. I have ISPE so I get out at 2:00 instead of 3:00. And I’m enjoying the block schedule because it’s easier to get home work done with two days instead of one.
